Who Are We?

If you don't already know us, we're mSoft Inc. of Los Angeles. We make lightning fast systems for busy production facilities like yourselves to designed to take away the walls of music and sound effects library CDs and replace them with an affordable, easy to use in-house networked server system that interfaces with Avid, Pro Tools, or any other workstation you have. We even create automatic cue sheets, too! Our systems are installed at most of the large broadcasters, post houses and game producers you know. We are the system that you always said would "someday" exist. Well, it exists today, and the new version will be on display at NAB in Las Vegas, April 18-21, in booth C1860. What's Happening At The Booth?

One of the first things you'll see when you walk into our booth are the faces of a lot of your favorite music library people. For the second year in a row, mSoft Inc. is very pleased to host some of the world's leading music libraries in our booth, "serving up" the best in production music for our mutual customers. Groove Addicts, APM, Megatrax, MasterSource, Riptide Music, and Downright Music will all have listening & meeting stations in the booth, with DeWolfe, 615 Music, Media On Demand & others also available at additional mSoft Inc. stations.

Booth Party!! Come Out To Our "Luau Of Libraries" From 4-6PM on Monday And Tuesday

CAN YOU SAY FROZEN MAI-TAI'S? (Then you haven't had enough!) We'll be having a "Library Luau" cocktail party right in our booth from 4-6pm on Monday, April 18, and Tuesday April 19. Come by the mSoft Inc. booth for your choice of a frozen Mai Tai or Margarita, all to the soothing sights and sounds of two (count'em) Polynesian dancers dancing to the best in tropical tracks from our library "booth buddies."

What's New With mSoft Inc.'s Software At NAB?

MusicCue 3.6! New features include:

A new automatic usage tracking feature. Clicking on the details window for any piece of music within the system will show exactly how it has been used.
Automatic and accurate to the tenth of a second cue sheets. MusicCue 3.6 can generate a cue sheet of what actually went to air by reading an EDL or Fairlight ML file from any production.
On Air Pro interface option: mSoft Inc. has teamed together with Thought Development to offer a transfer of information from mSoft Inc. servers into their On Air Pro data handling system. On Air Pro is designed to automate the on-air promotion process for broadcast and cable networks, and Thought Development & mSoft Inc. have many mutual customers that should be excited about the new interface ability. Yes, you heard right - we'll be showing our new stock footage video library server system, which can be added to any mSoft Inc. music and SFX asset management system or be installed as a stand alone product. Any Image or Video libraries can be searched by keywords, genre, etc., and thumbnail versions auditioned, with full quality video copies transferred to any workstation!
