mSoft MusicCue Version 3.5
The new 3.5 version of our search software we debuted at AES is currently shipping, and all of our current users that are under support should contact us for a time to dial in and remotely update your software via TightVNC. It was great to see all of you in the booth for demos, or just having a glass of wine or some cheese with us at our Friday night reception. We were raffling off three 1,000 FX sets from the 50,000 FX SoundStorm SFX library - here's a list of the winners:

WWE doubles existing mSoft system to 18TB!
Last year about this time, World Wrestling Entertainment ordered a fully redundant 5TB music and SFX server system - quite a sizable system even by current 2004 standards. Over the last year, the storage grew until the 5TB system was 9TB. This month, WWE has doubled the storage for a total of 18TB, and added the complete SoundStorm SFX library, as well as most of the remaining SFX packages they didn't already have from Hollywood Edge and Sound Ideas.

Second mSoft server in Hong Kong goes in at The Hong Kong Jockey Club
Digital Media Technology Co., Ltd., mSoft's Far East dealer, has recently made their second Hong Kong sale to The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Desmond Stou at DMT handled the sale, which included a 250GB mirrored audio storage and a sizable SFX and music package. Horse racing is very popular in Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Jockey Club is very busy creating all of their own radio ads, videos, and television promos.

Music Epicenter Throws LA Music Supervisor Party Nov. 18
Music Epicenter is throwing a big party for all Los Angeles area music supervisors on Thursday, November 18th at 8pm. It will be held at LA's coolest underground club "The What Club", feature international cuisine, cocktails (with a FroZini martini bar), live performances from great "LA to UK" indie artists, and lots of giveaways and prizes including a Danelectro guitar (Can you say "twang?")! SoundStorm SFX Sale goes to Nov. 30th!
By now, you're probably getting pretty interested in this great unique set of FX that everyone is buying. To demo the SoundStorm SFX library, go to http://www.msoftmusic.com and pull down to the lower right hand side of the screen until you see the SoundStorm logo button. Click on that and log in with your choice of either ssdemo1 or ssdemo2 (it is not case sensitive). When you are in, you will be restricted to only effects in this library, and you can do word searches for whatever you like. To "cherry pick" a yourself your own custom set from the 50,000 FX library, search through the files I have attached called SoundStormSet1, SoundStormSet2, and SoundStormSet3. Create your own package by saving the new set from the Excel file and send it back to use as your order. You'll get the audio files and the searchable metadata (an mSoft server is not required) shipped back from us, ready to load on your computer.
