HIGH Powering the Post-CD Production Society (Or: "MORE of What You'll See at NAB!)

Well, even though we just sent an E-zine a week ago, there's more news on what's going on at our booth SL3431 in Las Vegas at NAB April 19-22. We've got show specials, new music libraries that signed on to be shown at our booth, new software to tell you about, and more! So here's the "eleventh hour update":

New "Search Within A Search" Feature for MusicCue 3.2

The new MusicCue 3.2 release that will debut at NAB includes a new ability to do a substring "search within a search". Now you can go to the genre or era, etc. of music you want from the main search page and enter some keywords to filter your search down to a manageable number. This is just one of many new features in MusicCue 3.2. We're excited to show it to you and urge you to call to reserve a demo time due to the response we've been having - but either way - come on down to the show!

Soundminer 3.1 Debuts at NAB With Even More Features

See the new SoundMiner 3.1 in our booth with new Rewire support that allows audition and transfer of your high-resolution files through your Pro Tools hardware, Rewire transport control, a built in dictionary/thesaurus with thousands of words and synonyms newly added, new project system, MySQL server support, HTTP support, REX file support that reads the beat per minute of your files, a built in 1/3 octave phase coherent equalizer in their PluginRack, and even more - so come to NAB and meet Steve and Justin from Soundminer to see it!

More Music Libraries Sign On To Show Wares at NAB in mSoft Booth

mSoftPlayer 2.0 - NEW At NAB

We're very glad to be able to debut a new interface for both Macintosh and Windows based digital audio workstations at NAB. mSoftPlayer 2.0 is designed to work with a standard internet browser and will provide a simple and easy to use file player for sending single or multiple audio files from the mSoft server to their DAWs.

Currently for Macintosh OS 9, OS X 10.2 and above, mSoft also offers a new Windows version as well, giving their Macintosh and PC users a uniform cross platform experience. mSoftPlayer 2.0 includes a scrub-able waveform display that allows users to select just the portion of the audio file to be sent to the DAW. Users can also use mSoftPlayer 2.0 to batch transfer copies of audio files they have saved to an mSoft project list. For Mac users, the download path can be set to any ProTools session bin or directly to the timeline, or any Avid audio folder.

mSoftPlayer 2.0 is the latest addition to the DAW interface products that mSoft offers for it's MusicCue and ServerSound systems, which include SoundMachinePro for OS9 and earlier and the great SoundMiner line of products from SoundMiner of Toronto. Retailing at $500 per DAW user, existing users can upgrade to mSoftPlayer 2.0 from any other mSoft supported DAW interface for $100.

NAB Specials!

We've probably been watching too many infomercials, because we're offering the absurdly great deal to anyone buying the SoundStorm SFX Libraries from us at NAB of free storage to put it on (you'll have to buy your own set of matching steak knives, through - sorry). We'll have the complete 300GB of SoundStorm effects (that's about 400 hours of Oscar winning effects - or 400 CDs in CD-speak) ready for you to audition and we are selling packages as small as 1,000 FX, so come on out and take a listen!

We also will offer a server system special that can't be beat at the show: Order any server system by May 1st, and take an additional 25% off of the price of the audio storage and files for your libraries that we can fit internally to the server - order as little as 250GB (about 300 CDs) and up to 2TB (about 2250 CDs) for 25% off! If you prefer to go with our rental / subscription option rather than purchase a system, we will compute the monthly fees based on the discounted price, so you can't lose on this unbelievable deal! (Limit: 2TB)

NAB Free Passes Sill Available Online

See you at NAB April 19-22 in booth SL3431 - you can still register online through our site, but there is a cut off for mailing passes and so if you're just registering now you'll probably have to wait in line to get your badge printed... bummer, dude... either way, you need to go to http://www.msoftinc.com, and remember to call us before the show at 818-716-7081 to schedule a demo!
